Boobs Like Britney
Being a 90’s baby, I grew up watching music videos of Britney Spears and being well-versed in pop culture. I saw Britney flinging her hair all over the place and totally fan-girled when Crossroads came out; obsessed over the fact that both Britney and her younger sister were in the movie. Although Britney has kind of fallen off my radar as I have grown up, she caught my attention today with something I wasn’t expecting: she’s creating a lingerie line.
I was just playing around on Twitter early this morning on my train ride into the city and saw her name pop up. I ignored it at first and went to Instagram, scrolling through the pictures of everyone’s wild Tuesday night. Then it registered in my brain that Britney Spears’ came up. So I went back and searched her name on Twitter, then Google, and was blown away to see that she was in fact creating a lingerie line.
Now, being a loyal customer of Victoria’s Secret (and not owning a single bra from any other brand but VS), I don’t know if I’m necessarily going to try the line, but I definitely want to check it out. From the photo Britney leaked on Twitter, it looks like it’s going to be pretty cute. I absolutely love mesh paneling right now in lingerie, tops, shorts — you name it.
