Fall in Love with Rose Gold Beauty Products
It’s August now. That means that your gorgeous glowy skin look and bronze smokey eye are soon to transition into dark lips and dark smokey eyes. But if you’re not ready to change your look quite yet, I have the perfect solution for you: Play around with rose gold-colored hues for the fall.
As strange as it may sound, almost every single day this week at least one conversation I’ve had throughout the day included rose gold in some way. Jewelry, makeup, nail polish—you name it.
I felt like maybe that was a sign that I should talk about my favorite rose gold-themed beauty products today. Fall will be here before we know it and rose gold tones always remind me of the changing colors of leaves in the fall. So without further ado, let’s get right to talking about my favorite rose gold beauty products…
I love the colors that Urban Decay comes out with. I’m not a big fan of the fallout that comes with the shadows, but I love the pigments and the long-lasting power of them. One of my favorite rose gold-themed palettes is the Naked 3 one. I have light hazel-ish colored eyes and this palette makes them really pop. My favorite colors from this set are Lair, Nooner, Limit, Mugshot, and Trick. These colors really seem the most pigmented to me and they look amazing when they are layered.
This brush set is going to be my next set that I buy. I love how feminine and clean they look. There are only 7 brushes in this set, but I usually only find myself using a handful of brushes from my sets anyway. This set would totally be the perfect travel set—they even come in an adorable and practical travel case! I’ve had a handful of Morphe brushes in the past (sadly, I lost a few) and they were the best. They’re so soft and don’t trap the product.
This lip gloss is the best gloss ever in my opinion. It is one of the few lip products that I found that does not bleed—so, yes, you don’t need lip liner! It is super long-lasting and the color is stunning. I think that this color was probably my go-to color in the fall (I need to buy more because I’m out) and for Valentine’s Day. It looks so chic, soft, and girly—but still super sexy.
I admit, this blush doesn’t look very rose gold toned, but once it’s on your face, you’ll see why I think it is. It is kind of like a blush and a bronzer put together. You’ll end up with a very glowy/flirty look. Miliani is one of my all-time favorite drugstore brands for blushes and bronzers. My mom bought a Miliani blush, about a year ago, in the color Fantastico Mauve and told me I should try hers. At first I looked at her like she was crazy because the blush is super purple, but when I put it on, I was like OH MY GOSH. It was so stunning. Ever since then, I’ve been totally obsessed with their blushes/bronzers, so thank you mom!
Story time: I went to a new nail place two weeks ago and spent my usual ten minutes trying to decide on a color. After I had three colors in my hand, I looked up at the top shelf and saw this gem: a beautiful rose gold colored polish. Immediately, I put back all of the other colors and reached to grab this one off the shelf (I swear I heard that magical “ahhhh” sound playing). When the nail technician started painting this color on my nails, I was shaking I was so excited! IT WAS GORGEOUS. I have a new nail color on now, but I am buying this color because it is the perfect color for every season. I felt like a modern Barbie doll.
