Review: It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Treatments

Is your hair damaged? Color-treated? Dry? Frizzy? A tangled mess? Well, if your hair isn’t any of those things, I’m jealous. If your hair is one—or all—of those things, keep reading this because I have something you’re going to love.
I first started getting highlights in my hair when I was in 5th grade. The highlights were nothing dramatic, just a few here and there that were just a couple shades lighter. I’ll be honest, the reason my sister and I got them was because I had lice. My mom used to work in a salon so she knew that the chemicals in the hair dye would get rid of the lice. And it obviously worked.
Anyway, my sister and I naturally have ash blonde hair. It would get almost white in the summer and a dark ash color in the winter. As we got older, neither one of us liked the darker shade that would show up in the cooler months, so we kept getting highlights. Throughout the years, my sister and I have obviously put dye into our hair, which usually can damage it. My mom was really good with teaching us to condition (and shampoo, of course) our hair in the shower and use leave-in conditioner afterwards.
Needless to say, I have tried many—many—leave-in conditioners over the years. But I have one all-time favorite one: It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in for Blondes.
I used to just use the normal It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in spray before they came out with the blonde one. Both work fantastically. I really love this product because it makes my hair feel like silk and protects it. If you go check out the product, on the back of the (blonde) bottle you’ll see that it says it does ten things:
Tones hair color Enhances brilliance Reduces fading/extends vibrancy Adds shine & restores moisture Restores elasticity & length Detangles & defrizzes Seals the cuticle Thermal protector UV protectant Designed for all blondes
This product really does all of those things. After I get out of the shower, I let my hair towel dry for about 15 minutes, then I spray the product on my hair, and then I comb it out and let it soak in for at least 10 minutes.
What I like best about this product is it doesn’t make your hair greasy. I have thin hair, but I have a lot of it, and it doesn’t weigh it down or make it greasy-feeling. I even use this on my clip-in extensions and it just makes them feel brand new and soft.
I’m 90% sure I’ve used all of the It’s a 10 Leave-in sprays. I’ve used the original, keratin, express silk, blonde, styling serum, shine spray, volume lite, and the miracle oil. I’m pretty sure those are all of them, but if I see one that is new to me, I know I’ll love it and I’ll give it a try.
The sprays can be a little expensive for some people. The 4oz bottles are on $20 on average at Ulta and around $15 at Target, but if you have a Sally Beauty Supply card and buy them there, they are a little cheaper. But, no matter what, they are totally worth the price.
The bottom line is: you can either spend a total of $50 by buying a bunch of $5 leave-in treatments that you don’t like, or you can spend the $15-$20 for It’s a 10 and know that you’re getting a really amazing product. You absolutely won’t regret using this product, especially if you have color-treated thin hair like I do. I absolutely love this brand and I wouldn’t tell you guys I did if I didn’t.
If any of you try this product out, let me know!
