Summer-Smooth Skin
During the summer, most of us indulge in trips to the beach, swimming in the pool, and getting some sun at outdoor barbecues. While all of these things are fun and relaxing, they do tend to take a toll on our skin, but I have something that will rejuvenate your skin and leave it soft, smooth, and moisturized.
Personally, I like to moisturize my skin every day and exfoliate at least once a week—usually at least twice a week in the summer. In the summer, I exfoliate more often because I feel like I can sense the buildup of oil, sunscreen, chlorine, and even sand on my skin. Taking a normal shower and washing my body with soap still doesn’t always make my skin feel better. But, after I exfoliate, my skin feels like it is brand new.
One of my recent favorite exfoliators for summer is True Blue Spa Fresh Foaming Body Buff with Shea Butter. This exfoliator is grainy, so it takes off the dead skin and all of that summer-product buildup on your body, but it’s not that harsh, rocky feel. I like this product because although it is grainy, it’s not like other exfoliators that make me feel like I’m rubbing tiny shard of glass on my body. It’s a gentle exfoliator that foams—and smells amazing!
I used this product by first softening my skin with warm water in the shower for about 5 minutes. I washed my skin with body wash and rinsed. Then I squeezed the product directly into my hands and applied it all over my body, rubbing it in large and small circular motions. It foamed very quickly, which I loved. As soon as it started foaming, my skin felt softer and the product started to smell stronger. It actually smelt like I was at a spa resort! After I rubbed the product all over my body, I washed it off with cool water. When I got out of the shower, I was shocked at how moisturized my skin was. I didn’t even need to put lotion on.

Usually I am not the kind of person to get hooked on bath products. I typically just pick one that smells good and hope for the best; so definitely take that into consideration. I highly recommend this product to everyone. If you do tend to have dry skin, this is the perfect body buff or exfoliator for you. Plus, if you lather on some coconut oil when you get out of the shower after using this product, your skin will feel like a baby’s!
