7 Makeup Products That'll Give You All the Feels

Finding a few new makeup favorites is such an exciting feeling. Whenever I get really into certain products, I feel as if I’ve found a special treasure. Today, I want to share some of my latest treasures with you! Some of these products are brand new, and some are oldies but goodies. Regardless, here are 7 makeup products that I’ve been absolutely loving lately!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation

This foundation has been my go-to foundation this entire summer. When it comes to foundation, I prefer full coverage. My skin is actually in really good shape, but I personally think a smooth, perfected base looks beautiful at the moment.

Anyway, this foundation has SPF 15 in it—which is a must in the summer especially—and is oil free. Unlike most foundations with SPF, this one does not have bad flashback in photos! One of the most interesting things about this foundation to me is that it provides amazing coverage, but isn’t drying at all. I’m guessing it has something to do with the clay formula.

Although this foundation is full coverage, it is buildable and will not look cakey on your face. I personally either apply mine with my fingers or damp beauty blender! I use the shade Medium Sand!

It’s vegan, hypoallergenic, and sulfate-free! This foundation is expected to work for any skin type and “adjust” to your skin’s needs. Typically high coverage foundations have the tendency to cause breakouts—mine definitely does when I use my MAC Studio Fix—but I have not experienced any breakouts due to this foundation. It’s literally magic and I highly recommend it.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Eye Palette

I bought this palette when it first came out and honestly used it for a week or two and set it aside. But recently, I fell back in love with it. This palette comes with 5 colors inside; a glittery light gold, a glittery rose gold, a matte dusty rose, a matte milk chocolate brown, and a matte purple/mauve.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been using the two shimmer shades (Chardonnay and Champagne Toast) nearly every day. I pop the lighter shade in my inner corner, the rose gold shade on my lid, and smoke out the very outer edge of my eye with either a powder bronzer or the brown shade in the palette. It gives the eyes such an open, sparkly, light look. It’s so stunning.

If you have a light gold eyeliner, I recommend putting a little bit in your waterline to add a bit more shimmer and open up the eyes even more! If you can get your hands on this palette, definitely do!

Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer

So typically you’ll see this concealer recommended for covering tattoos up, but since I don’t have any tattoos, I’ve been using it for something else—cream contour!

Initially I set off to find the L.A. Girl Pro Conceal H.D. Concealer that I’ve heard many people recommend for cream contouring with, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. But I did find this Glamoflague one. They looked pretty similar in the packaging, so I figured it was worth a shot.

I was right.

In the summer, I keep my face pretty pale since I always wear a SPF, so getting my face to match the rest of my body can be a challenge. Usually contouring and bronzing is where it goes wrong for me—either it looks too ashy, thick, or unnatural. I don’t like to set my foundation with powder in the summer, so using my typical powder contour just doesn’t work. That being said, I’ve been using a little bit—read it again: little bit—to contour/bronze my face with and it looks flawless. I’ve been using the shade Fawn, but they have a whole range to choose from.

RCMA No-Color Powder

Although I don’t usually set my face with powder in the summer, I have been loving a nice bright under-eye. I take any light concealer within reach, apply it to my under-eyes and blend it out. Shortly after, I take this RCMA powder and apply a generous amount to where I just applied the concealer to “bake” for about 2-3 minutes, and then I gently wipe it away.

My sister originally found this powder and gifted it to me during Christmas. I’ve been using it a few times a week since then & I’m still not even through the whole container yet.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

I was very fortunate enough to get this palette before the official release date, so I got to play around with it before seeing how other people use it. For someone with green eyes (well sometimes, they change colors), this palette is an absolute must-have. It has all of these stunning copper and red tones inside and it will carry beautifully into fall.

I’ve found that with this palette, a little goes a long way—which is awesome because then you don’t run out as quickly. The only downfall is that sometimes the shimmer shades don’t have a strong pigment to them, but that’s nothing a little setting spray on your brush before you pick up the color can’t fix! The colors are super long-lasting and don’t seem to crease much at all.

Milani Baked Blush

If you’re super into makeup like I am, you’ve probably been reading this post going, “Oh my gosh, she’s so basic,” but I’m only recommending these products because they’re truly my absolutely favorites at the moment. I tend to resist jumping on the bandwagon with makeup, but I finally caved when I was at Target and picked up this blush in Luminoso.

It’s the most beautiful coral shade I’ve ever seen in a blush and just gives the cheeks a nice glow. It looks good with nearly any lip shade—pinks, reds, and nudes for days!—and has a beautiful sheen to it. Whenever I use this blush, I don’t even feel the need to apply any highlighter because my skin already looks radiant.

On another note, the packaging is also super high-end looking. It’s gold, champagne, and clear—totally up my alley! The mirror inside is also super crisp and perfect for doing a little check of your makeup!

Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Creme Lip Gloss

In June, I went to Sephora and saw a few of these glosses near the checkout counter. They were all glittery, holographic, and just so cool. Naturally, I swatched them all on my hand and ended up deciding that I need all of them.

However, I decided that maybe I should start with just one first! The shade I bought is called Champagne Pearl and it’s this stunning copper/pink/gold/champagne hue. It’s an absolute dream for summer and I feel like it's going to look gorgeous in fall too. It looks so glossy when the sun hits it!

I really love this gloss because it actually stays. I typically wear a lip liner everyday, but with this gloss, you don’t even have to. I personally wear just a nude one underneath, but don’t even bother applying one if you don’t like to. The gloss isn’t super wearable—like you will have to touch it up after you eat or give some kisses—but if you’re just talking and hanging out, you’ll be good to go with this!

Alright, that’s all of the makeup that I’ve really been vibing with lately. Of course there’s more makeup that I’ve been wearing, but these ones are the ones that I don’t think I’ve wrote about yet. I highly recommend all of these, so if you’ve been on the fence about any of them, I hope this helped you make your decision. If you have any questions at all, please let me know!
