A Week in the Life of a Model

The past week has been a very exciting—and busy—one! I feel like so much has happened in a short amount of time and all I want to do is share it with everyone!
Some of the events of last week include: a styled bridal shoot, DesignerShare’s Fall Refresh fashion show, Hasselblad Bron’s photowalk, a rainy day shoot with two local photographers, and yesterday’s bikini shoot.
And those are just the highlights from my modeling gigs last week. For fun throw a doctor’s visit, busy days of work, a tiny bit of a social life, and you’ve got my whole week wrapped up.
Although it was a very busy week, I feel so blessed to be booking more modeling jobs and getting the chance to network with amazing people. I’m so stoked to see what else is happening soon.
However, the main event that I want to share in this post is DesignerShare’s Fall Refresh. I did my first collaboration with DesignerShare back in April of this year. I wrote two posts talking about my experience with DesignerShare and explaining what to company is and how it works.
Here are the two posts I’m referring to:
(P.S. You can also rent some items from my closet on DesignerShare now too! If you want a referral code to get 20% off, email me & I'll send it to you!)
Being one of the first influencers to have worked with DesignerShare is such an honor. I absolutely love the concept of their company and the people behind it are simply incredible. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Co-Founders Sarah Perkins and Bill Meyer, as well as Community Manager Danielle Wink, while collaborating with the company, and I couldn’t be happier for them and their success.
Getting to see how much DesignerShare has grown and influenced the community in just a few months is such a beautiful thing. So when I got asked to model in DesignerShare’s Fall Refresh event at IO Godfrey, I was so excited!
The event was sophisticated and trendy. It reminded me of a NYFW event/afterparty. It took place on IO Godfrey’s rooftop lounge and had a beautiful view of the city—and perfect weather! There were amazing appetizers, crafted cocktails, and a fashion show to end the night. To make things even more glamorous, stylists from Charles Ifergan Salon were there for hair touchups for models and attendees. The beachy waves and voluminous braid the stylist did on me were absolutely perfect for the looks I modeled. LISA, Milates Center, and Olfactif were also there as vendors!
Guests (such as bloggers, stylists, influencers, etc.) were given bags at the door and were able to mingle with other creatives. Seeing that much creativity, support, and positivity all in one room inspired me so much.
Because of DesignerShare’s event and the amazing people I got to meet, I’m really inspired for a new project I’m planning. I want to keep it a secret for now, but once I have all the ends tied up, I’ll be sure to announce it! I really think you all are going to love it!
Thank you again DesignerShare for inviting me to work with you once again and congratulations on all of your success so far. The inspiration and opportunities you’ve given me are ones I would’ve never believed I’d have this time last year. I can’t wait to see what else is in store!
That’s all for today, but stay tuned for next week and upcoming projects!
